How to use this template

  1. Open it as a draft

Press "Use this template" and it lands in your workspace as an editable form with all 6 questions already in it. No card, and nothing is published until you say so.

  2. Cut what you do not need

Every question you remove is one fewer reason to abandon the form. It takes about 1.5 minutes to fill in as it stands, and that is the number worth protecting.

  3. Add from the question bank

Pick what you are missing from the questions below. Drag any of them in, change the wording, and use conditional logic so people only see the ones that apply to them. Scoring is already set up, so new questions can feed it.

  4. Share it, or put it on your own site

Publish to get a link, or embed it in a page you already have. Answers arrive in your dashboard, and you can send them on to anywhere else with a webhook or an integration.

32 personality quiz form questions to choose from

A personality quiz does not have right answers, which makes the result screen do all the work. People take it to find out which one they are, and share it because the description felt accurate.

The trick is making each outcome flattering in a different way. Nobody shares a result that reads as an insult.

Preference questions

  • Which of these sounds more like you?
  • At a party, are you more likely to...
  • When something goes wrong, your first instinct is...
  • Would you rather plan it or wing it?
  • Which matters more to you: being right or keeping the peace?
  • How do you recharge after a hard week?
  • What do people come to you for?
  • Which of these would you never do?

Scenario questions

  • You have a free Saturday and no plans. What happens?
  • A friend asks for advice you think is wrong. What do you say?
  • You are handed a project with no instructions. What do you do first?
  • Someone disagrees with you in a meeting. How do you respond?
  • You have one hour and three things to do. How do you choose?
  • A plan falls through at the last minute. How do you feel?
  • You are asked to lead something you have never done. Do you say yes?
  • What would your colleagues say your worst habit is?

Designing the outcomes

  • How many outcomes? (Four to six reads best)
  • Does each outcome have a memorable name?
  • Is each one flattering in its own way?
  • Does the description say something specific enough to feel true?
  • Does it include a mild weakness, so it reads as honest?
  • Does each outcome have its own image?
  • Is there a next step for each one?
  • Can people see the other outcomes afterwards?

Capture and sharing

  • What is your name?
  • Where should we send your result?
  • Would you like the longer version by email?
  • Can we send you related things occasionally?
  • How did you find this quiz?
  • Would you share your result?
  • Who are you going to send this to?
  • Was the result accurate? (1 to 5)

Personality Quiz form questions, answered

How do I make a personality quiz?
Score each answer toward one or more outcomes with variables, then route to the ending screen with the highest total. No code, and the builder handles the scoring and the routing.
How many outcomes should a personality quiz have?
Four to six. Fewer feels crude; more and the differences between them stop being meaningful, and people end up reading a description that could be anyone.
How do personality quizzes generate leads?
The result is the incentive. Ask for an email after the last question and before the outcome, and expect far better conversion than any download, because the reward is immediate and personal.
How long should a personality quiz be?
Eight to twelve questions. Short enough to finish on a phone in a queue, long enough that the result feels earned rather than random.
Is this personality quiz form template free?
Yes. Use it, publish it and collect answers on the free plan with no card. Paid plans add things like payments, scheduling, removing our badge and your own domain, but none of them are needed to run this form.
Do I need an account to use it?
You need one to edit and publish, because the form has to live somewhere and the answers have to come back to you. Signing up takes about a minute and does not ask for a card. The people filling your form in never need an account.
Can I change the questions?
All of them. The template is a starting point, not a fixed form: add, remove, reword and reorder anything, change the look, and use logic so people only see the questions that apply to them.
Can I put it on my own website?
Yes. Embed it in a page you already have, or share the link. On a paid plan you can serve it from your own domain so the address says your name rather than ours.
Where do the answers go?
Into your dashboard, where you can read, search and export them as CSV. You can also have each response emailed to you, pushed to another tool with a webhook, or sent to a connected integration.
How long does this form take to fill in?
About 1.5 minutes as it stands, across 6 questions. Every question you cut brings that down, and shorter forms get finished more often.
