About CrispForms

Why this exists, and what we're trying not to do.

The problem

Form builders have drifted into a familiar shape. The good one is beautiful and costs more than your project management tool. The free one looks like it was designed in 2009. And the interesting features — logic, integrations, decent analytics — sit behind a tier you have to talk to someone about.

Meanwhile the thing you actually wanted was a form that looks like you made it on purpose, collects answers reliably, and tells you where people gave up.

What we did instead

We put the paywall in exactly one place: our badge. Everything that makes a form good — every question type, conditional logic, scoring, calculators, all thirty-odd themes, every integration — is free, permanently, with no card and no trial clock.

CrispForms is $20 a month if you want the badge gone. That also gets you custom domains, email automations, enhanced analytics and AI summaries, because a plan with one feature in it feels like a shakedown.

Paying yearly is $200 rather than $240, which is 2 months free. That is the entire offer — there is no minimum term, no price that goes up at renewal, and nothing that gets taken away if you pay monthly instead.

Things we decided early

  • No tracking on your forms. No cookies, no third-party scripts, IP addresses hashed with a salt that rotates daily. It means we genuinely cannot follow your respondents around, and it means you don’t need a consent banner.
  • Never break a live form. Go over your limit and your form keeps accepting answers. Cancel Pro and your forms keep working. Punishing a respondent for a customer’s billing state is a choice, and it’s a bad one.
  • Ask for the narrowest permission. Our Google Sheets integration can only see the sheets it created. It cannot list, open or read anything else in your Drive, because we never asked for that.
  • Accessibility isn’t a version two. Conversational forms are usually where screen-reader support quietly dies. Ours is built not to.

Where we are

Early. We’re building in the open and shipping steadily — the changelog is the honest version of progress.

If something is missing or annoying, tell us: hello@crispforms.com. Early feedback disproportionately shapes what gets built.
