Vendor Application form questions, answered
- What should a vendor application form ask?
- What they sell, what space they need, and proof of insurance. The insurance certificate is the item that holds everything up if you leave it to the final week.
- Can vendors upload insurance certificates to the form?
- Yes. File upload questions take PDFs and images, so certificates, risk assessments and stall photographs arrive with the application.
- How do I select between vendor applications?
- Score the answers so applications can be compared on the same basis, and ask for photographs. A scored form also gives you something to point at when you decline somebody.
- Can I take the pitch fee in the application?
- You can, but most organisers take it after accepting. Use two forms, or one form with a payment link sent on acceptance, so you are not refunding everybody you turn down.
