The funnel

Views is how many people saw the form. Starts is how many answered at least one question. Completions is how many finished.

The gap between views and starts is usually about the first question or the page it's embedded in. The gap between starts and completions is about a specific question, and per-question drop-off will tell you which.

Uniques are per day

Sessions are identified by a hash that includes a salt which rotates every day and is never stored with the events. That's what makes the analytics cookieless — and it means the same person visiting on two days counts as two, which is why the label says so.

Today's numbers

Data is rolled up every fifteen minutes. Today's figures are the rollups plus a live read of anything since the last one, so recent activity shows up immediately rather than appearing a quarter of an hour late.
